Hi, my name is Sam. I am currently trying to get closer to God and Jesus Christ. I visit a Christian church in Germany, where I meet people and talk with them about their faith.
I want to understand Christianity and find my own way to Jesus. However, this journey is not always easy for me.
I recently started reading the Bible, but I have many questions. Some parts seem confusing or even contradictory to me, and I find it difficult to accept things that do not make sense.
People often say that faith comes from the heart. I understand that, but I believe that faith should also make sense to my mind. I cannot simply believe something because I want it to be true. I need good reasons and honest answers.
I created this wiki to collect my thoughts, questions, and doubts about Christianity. I want to understand the Bible better, explore difficult topics, and look at different explanations.
My goal is not to prove Christianity wrong. I genuinely want to find God and understand the Christian faith. However, I also do not want to ignore contradictions or accept explanations that do not seem reasonable.
For me, being honest with myself is an important part of this journey. I want to question things openly, examine different arguments, and follow the evidence wherever it leads.
My goal is to find the truth and hopefully build a real relationship with Jesus Christ.
I want my faith to be based on honesty, understanding, and good reasons rather than simply believing because others tell me to.
I understand that I may not find an answer to every question. Still, I want to remain open-minded, continue learning, and be willing to change my views when I discover new evidence or better explanations.
I hope that my questions and doubts will not keep me away from God, but instead help me find a deeper and more meaningful faith.
I do not want to believe something just because I want it to be true. I want to believe because I have good reasons to think it is true.
This wiki documents my personal journey through faith, doubt, questions, and the search for truth.
